What would you suggest for....

What would you suggest for someone wanting to learn coin magic? What books, dvd's, or internet sources would you recommend?

I think the first book that should be on the list is of course Modern Coin Magic by J.B. Bobo. I think this book is mandatory reading for all wanting to learn magic because most of the sleights in this book can cross over with other objects.

So now its your turn, lets get a nice list started here.

My pick would be "Metal" by Eric Jones. Great dvd and excellent teaching on the foundation of coin magic.

Modern Coin Magic is a great way to learn the basics. There is a DVD version of it available now.

To be honest i think its best to learn just some basic stuff from the internet but do your own thing with it because when someone tries to copy exactly, when they perform it looks unnatural and the act then looks rough.

Thanks,

Face to face with other magicians is where I've learned some of the most effective sleights and routines with coin magic. I recommend magic clubs and magic shops. Nothing like that live one on one feedback.

Simple suggestion would be anything by David Roth. His DVD's and Books are amazing.
