Do you think pulling out silver or half dollars to perform coin effects takes away from the sense of magic?

I sometimes wonder if spectators feel deep down that such coins are gimmicked or preset. like"wow, he carries these coins around with him?"

I know silver and halves are easier to be seen and handled however, should we stay away from them if it affects to impromptu feel of our magic?
