Just watched Magic Jam w/ special guest Robin Leach where Robin talked about the attack that Perez made on C about a year or so back. Funny...I remember reading about that and another public insult to C by someone "else" that happened around the same time ;-) and thinking to myself...surely this is just one of C's brilliant marketing schemes and he's made this all up because it just seemed too far fetched to believe that he could be attacked so viscously and so publicly. Sadly, I learned tonight that it wasn't another one of those brilliant marketing schemes...it was true. This site is kind of giving C a platform to set the record straight at least. It is true as Robin said; a journalists job is not to give their opinion, it is to report. If they give an opinion, then it is an uneducated one, unless it is an opinion on journalism. I've worked for two newspapers..so I'm entitled to this opinion

I thought the interview with Robin Leach was great! Fifty years in the biz.. I remember "Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous", jeebus, how long ago was that? And Robin's interview with Pacino, how weird was that, LOL!

I like how Robin has always taken the positive approach when reporting about celebs. He's avoided the snarky, mean, "tabloidy" route just to get attention and yet he is still one of the most popular celebrity reporters/bloggers!

Robin's statement about the general public/media's love of building up a new "star" and then tearing them down is also sadly, too true.

I loved the interviews! Robin Leach is thoughtful and well-spoken. He had some good things to say to aspiring entertainers, as well.
